Antex Corporation was established in 1917 as a manufacturer and distributor of forged products. In 1965, we developed by ourselves ring rolling machine and expanded our business. In 1980, we moved our plant
to the current location at Takahagi city in IBARAKI from Haneda city in Tokyo. Today, as a manufacturer with integrated production line from forging, machining to assembly, we make assembled slewing bearings from small to large size.
Our market share of main products applied to hydraulic excavators is more than 70% in domestic and more than 40% in world wide. We are very active in capital investment and technology innovation.

History
| August, 1917 | Ando Iron Works was established by the late President, Kumagoro Ando, at Chitose-machi, Fukagawa, Tokyo, as a manufacturer and distributor of forged products. |

| March, 1941 | Ando Iron Works, an unlimited partnership was started up. |
| May, 1965 | May, 1965 Real operation was started using newly introduced ring rolling machine designed and manufactured by ourselves. |
| October, 1980 | October, 1980 The first phase of construction of the Takahagi factory was completed. The Haneda factory was closed upon completion of the Takahagi factory and the entire production department was moved to Takahagi. The Takahagi factory started operation of material Production division – forging, ring rolling and heat-treatment. |
| March, 1989 | Real production of assembled slewing bearings was started. |
| September, 1992 | Changed the company name into ANTEX CORPORATION. |
| April, 1994 | A fully automated production line – forging, ring rolling and heat treatment – was newly introduced into Takahagi factory and real production was started. |
| October, 1999 | Takahagi factory obtained ISO9001 Certificate by Lloyd’s Register QA. |
| June, 2004 | ANTEX (SHANGHAI) CORPORATION Operation started. |
| February,2006 | Takahagi factory obtained ISO14001 Certificate by Lloyd’s Register QA. |
| November, 2007 | 2nd factory was built up. Automated production cell newly introduced into 2nd factory. |
| September, 2010 | 3rd factory was built up. A fully automated production line – forging, ring rolling and heat treatment – was newly introduced into 3rd factory. Its materials are supplied to 2nd factory. |
| August, 2012 | ANTEX (SHANGHAI) CORPORATION obtained ISO9001 Certificate by Lloyd’s Register QA. |
| August, 2017 | 100th ANNIVERSARY. |
| July, 2021 | Takahagi factory obtained ISO45001 Certificate by Lloyd’s Register QA. |
