Ando Iron Works (Haneda Era)

Aug. 1917 Ando Iron Works was established by the late President Kumagoro Ando at Chitose-machi, Fukawaga, in Koto Ward, Tokyo, as a manufacturer and distributor of forged products.
Mar. 1941 Started anew as Ando Iron Works, an unlimited partnership.
May 1965 Regular operations was started using the ring rolling mill designed and manufactured by ourselves.
Oct. 1980 The first phase of construction of the Takahagi Plant was completed. The Haneda Plant was closed upon completion of the Takahagi Plant and the entire production division was moved to Takahagi.
The Takahagi 1st Plant started operation of the Material Production Division for forging, rolling and heat-treatment operations.
Mar. 1989 Full-scale production of finished slewing bearings started.
Sep.1992 Changed the company name to ANTEX CORPORATION.
Apr. 1994 A fully automatic ring forging/heat treatment production line was installed. Full-scale production started.
Oct. 1999 ISO9001 Certificate by Lloyd's Register QA. (Takahagi plant)
Jun. 2004 ANTEX SHANGHAI. Operation started.
Feb. 2006 ISO14001 Certificate by Lloyd's Register QA. (Takahagi plant)
Nov. 2007 The Takahagi 2nd Plant was completed. A newly developed automated cell for medium-sized slewing rings was installed.
Sep.2010 The Takahagi 3rd Plant was completed. A fully automatic ring forging/heat treatment production line was installed.
Materials are supplied to the Takahagi 2nd Plant.
